ZONE Labs, Inc. (2007-2009)

Description
My role at Zone Labs, Inc. was Senior Art Director and I was responsible for overseeing and/or developing all creative output including print, package design, trade-show graphics, promotional materials, clothing, email graphics, landing pages, banner advertisements (internal & external), website enhancements and user interaction design.

Challenges
Being a small, family-run business, there was no creative department to oversee. I was a visual creative team of one person with the occasional help of a talented offsite freelance designer. The task was to elevate the look & feel of the Zone brand to that of a top-tier brand with very little internal budget.

Solutions
Taking control of every aspect of the brand and unifying the look and messaging. This includes user experience on the website and customer flow.

Another solution to streamline productivity was to 3D-model the majority of the Zone product lines to allow "virtual photoshoots" for whatever needs arose. It allowed me to quickly setup a scene and render-out high resolution product shots with dramatic camera angles and lighting without the need of a traditional photoshoot.

The links to the right demonstrate a few of the projects I was involved in.

The Shopping Enhancements demonstrate some of my Information Architecture and User Interaction experience in trying to streamline the process of shopping for products and adding them to the cart efficiently.

The Checkout Process enhancements also utilized the same skills to better convey useful information to the user at appropriate times to help increase closure rates within the checkout process.

The other links are just a handful of the creative web elements within the site and header graphics for external email campaigns.

Note
There is more Zone work in the other sections of my portfolio site including 3D and print.
